The housekeeping cabins are modern and fully furnished. All you provide is your food supplies, bath towels, and fishing gear. Fish by boat & motor on the Moose Lake Chain and Basswood Lake, plus visit other remote lakes that are canoe-only. Our services include boat-motor-canoe rentals, live bait, guide service, convenience store, laundry facility, hiking trails, playground. Outfitting for overnight canoe trips also available.

 

pictograph La Tourell's Resort "Gateway to Wilderness Fishing".  Located on Moose Lake.  The closest resort & outfitter in the area to Basswood Lake, the Canadian border and wilderness fishing.  We are a family operation that has been catering to fishing enthusiasts for three generations.  Offering modern housekeeping cabins, boats, motors, and complete and partial canoe trip outfitting.

pictograph Voyageur North Outfitters Enjoy our bunkhouse units right at our location. Each unit is private and has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room with TV, and a private bath and can accommodate eight people. The units come with freshly-laundered sleeping bags on each bed. Reservations must be made ahead of time as space is limited. The cost is $14 per person per night.

 

In The Grand Marais/Gunflint Trail Area:

 

pictograph Clearwater Lodge and Bed and Breakfast Normally, our guests stay with us the night before the trip in our lodge or other facilities. Sometimes families combine a canoe trip and a stay in one of our cabins. Our FULL LOG CABINS are nestled at the lake's edge, six log cabins, each with a unique personality. These cabins sleep from two to ten people and normally rent by the week except during May, early June, and September.

 

pictograph Golden Eagle Lodge and Cabins Is truly a hideaway all year round. Unspoiled and Unforgettable, sitting on the North Shore of Flour Lake, we are the only Resort and Residents. The resort offers lakefront, modern housekeeping cabins all with private docks, picnic tables & barbecues. These vacation homes are spaced to allow privacy from one another. Some cabins have large decks and/or porches for all seasons. The lodge offers two Barrier Free cabins for people with limited mobility. You’ll also find complete boat and motor and canoe rentals. With the many family activities available, you’ll enjoy a sand swimming beach and a Teepee Nature Center with planned activities for all ages.

 

pictograph Gunflint Lodge Cabins Twenty-three distinctive cabins are spread among the grounds, secluded for a feeling of privacy and many offering a view of Gunflint Lake with Canada on its opposite shore. Seventeen of these cabins are open in the winter. Accommodations vary from one to four bedrooms and all units have a living room with a fireplace. Some units have kitchen facilities and many have private saunas. Most cabins have home-sized whirlpool tubs and super cabins feature outdoor Jacuzzis large enough for the whole family. 

 

pictograph Gunflint Pines Cabins & Campgrounds Located on Minnesota's famous Gunflint Trail our A-frame housekeeping cabins at Gunflint Pines are nestled in the trees along the shore of Gunflint Lake. These spacious, modern units are fully carpeted, have fireplaces, decks, furnished kitchens and cooking utensils.

 

pictograph Hungry Jack Outfitters Visit the northwoods without roughing it. If camping out does not appeal to you but you would still like to have access to a peaceful northwoods vacation, Hungry Jack Outfitters also has two housekeeping cabins on Hungry Jack Lake. Our cabins are right on the shore and are just one mile by water from the edge of the Boundary Waters Wilderness. There are also some spectacular hiking trails along the Canadian border with trail heads on the other side of the lake.

 

pictograph Seagull and Saganaga Lake Cabins For those wishing the comfort of a bed and shower our modern housekeeping cabins on Seagull and Saganaga Lakes are just for you! Seagull Lake is a beautiful island studded lake where over half of the lake is limited to paddlers only. It is a great option for those wishing to day trip by canoe. Saganaga is a fishing paradise and home to many trophy walleyes. Located on Seagull and Saganaga Lakes at the end of the Gunflint Trail.

Rockwood Lodge and Cabins Enjoy the outdoors, then sleep in cozy comfort. Modern one and two-bedroom vacation homes are neatly tucked away along the lakeshore. Surrounded by towering pines, they are well spaced for privacy. All are completely furnished, including fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms with showers. Dip your paddle in crystal clear water. The new voyageur lodge completed this spring offers two enchanting hideaways. Each comes complete with fireplace, bath with whirlpool tub, kitchen, bedroom with queen size bed and separate loft with singles. Also available is Black Bear Cabin across the river. Rustic in atmosphere sleeping up to six people. Black bear is located in a wooded setting but still just a hop to the river.
